Every good thing starts somewhere. Ours started with a dog named Mac.

Mac is a mini Aussiedoodle — the kind of dog who steals your heart the moment he looks up at you. He belongs to Jen, a mom of five who has always believed that food is one of the most important ways we care for the people (and pups) we love. In her kitchen, meals are made with intention: organic, clean, and full of ingredients she actually trusts.

So when Mac started having health issues, Jen was heartbroken. A holistic vet helped her understand that Mac's body was inflamed, and the culprit was his food — a "human-grade" formula that didn't come close to the standard Jen kept for her own family.

Mac knew right away. He'd dive into his bowl, lick it clean, and circle back two or three more times just to be sure. Slowly, his body started to feel better. His spark came back.

And on quiet evenings, Jen would sit on the floor beside him with a bowl of her own — sharing real food with her best little friend.
